Print MoverSupport

Privacy

Local by design.

Print Mover works with the printing system already running on your Mac. Normal app operation does not upload print jobs, printer metadata, or document contents to Print Mover or its website.

What the app reads

The app asks the local macOS CUPS scheduler for the current user’s unfinished jobs and configured queues. That metadata can include a job title, printer name, state, status message, submission time, page count, and copy count when the scheduler supplies them.

What the app does not read

Print Mover does not retrieve print payloads, inspect spool files, preview documents, or create an application-level copy of a print job. Printer credentials remain managed by macOS and CUPS.

Preferences and notifications

Preferred-printer, attention-threshold, and notification settings stay in local macOS preferences. Attention notifications are generated locally and intentionally omit the job title.

Diagnostics

Diagnostics are exported only when you choose Export Diagnostics. The exported file excludes job titles, owners, document contents, spool paths, credentials, and raw IPP payloads. Print Mover does not transmit the file automatically.

This website

The website is hosted through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. Those providers may process ordinary request information and security cookies needed to deliver and protect the site. The macOS app does not depend on this website and does not send app usage data to it.
